Nominations Accepted through June 21
ATLANTA – April 1, 2013 – T.E.N., Inc. announced today that it would be accepting nominations for the first ever Information Security Executive® Canada Awards now through Friday, June 21, 2013. This is the first time the prestigious awards program will accept nominations from Canada on a regional basis; however, companies based in the country have been eligible for the ISE® North America Awards for many years.
Awards include the Information Security Executive® of the Year and ISE® People’s Choice awards, which recognize executives who have made a positive impact on their organizations through risk management, data-asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy and information security; and the ISE® Project of the Year, which recognizes a project completed during the previous 12-18 months that has had a significant impact on an organization’s risk management or information security posture.
Eligible nominees meet all appropriate criteria and are based anywhere in Canada. Executives or project teams can be self-nominated or submitted for nomination by supervisors, employees, peers, or technology partners. All nominations are sent to T.E.N.’s distinguished panel of ISE® judges for review and scoring. “In recent years, we have garnered additional participation and support from Canada-based executives and companies, and we felt it was time to give them equal opportunity for regional recognition. We look forward to shining a spotlight on Canada’s most innovative projects and dedicated executives who are breaking new ground in the security and risk management industries,” said Marci McCarthy, CEO & President of T.E.N.
All nominees will be recognized at the ISE® Canada Executive Forum and Awards on Sept. 19, 2013 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto in Toronto, Ontario. Finalists and winners in both categories are announced at the awards gala that evening and recognized through press coverage and inclusion on the T.E.N. and ISE® websites.
