Submit Your Nominations Before March 8, 2013
Atlanta, GA (Jan. 14, 2013) –Tech Exec Networks (T.E.N.), a technology and information security executive networking and relationship-marketing firm, announced today that nominations will be accepted now through March 8, 2013 for the ISE® Central Awards 2013.
The industry’s most prestigious and anticipated event for security executives and their project teams, the Information Security Executive (ISE®) of the Year Awards celebrates the best achievements of the year in the commercial, government, healthcare and academic/non-profit sectors—for both Executive and Project Categories—in the Central region.
As the role of security executives continues to become more business critical, recognizing the efforts of those who stand out above the rest showcases key achievements that might otherwise go unnoticed. “Receiving this award has really helped to broaden my professional network,” said Scott Howitt, senior director of IT Risk Management, JCPenney, and last year’s award winner. He added, “It was nice to get some public recognition and have peers reach out to me—peers who may not have reached out before.”
The Information Security Executive® of the Year Award is given to an executive who’s made a significant positive impact on his/her organization through risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy and information security. The Information Security Project of the Year Award recognizes projects and teams who’ve had a significant impact on an organization's risk management or information security posture.
The ISE® Central Awards and Executive Forum will take place on June 6, 2013 at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel, Dallas. The one-day event will include keynote speakers, interactive roundtables and panel discussions. Finalists and winners in both categories will be announced at the Awards Gala and recognized through press coverage and inclusion on the T.E.N. and ISE® websites.
