ISE® Luminary Leadership Award recognizes VP, Information Security & CISO, The Walt Disney Company, for outstanding contributions in information security
Atlanta, GA (October 2, 2012) –T.E.N., a technology and information security executive networking and relationship-marketing firm announced today that Anne Kuhns, vice-president, information security & CISO for The Walt Disney Company is the recipient of the prestigious ISE® Luminary Leadership Award 2012. Kuhns will be recognized for her distinguished service, stewardship, and outstanding contributions in advancing the information security industry.
The award will be presented during the ISE® North America Leadership Summit and Awards 2012 to be held Nov. 6-7, 2012 at the Westin Alexandria, Alexandria, Va. Kuhns will be featured as the keynote speaker at the Leadership Summit on Nov. 7.
Kuhns’ diverse background and collaborative, proactive leadership style have been significant contributors
to her success. She has led highly talented and productive teams, who have delivered a variety of
information security infrastructure solutions. Kuhns’ responsibilities at Disney include setting information
security policies and standards as well as developing strategy and business alignment.
A high profile contributor to the information security profession, Kuhns is a member of numerous key organizations including CISSP, Computer Security Institute, ISACA and served two terms as chairperson for the CSI Advisory Council. She has spoken at national conferences on a variety of information security related topics such as security awareness and garnering management support for security programs.
Her awards include the prestigious Partners In Excellence award by Walt Disney World and Information
Security Executive (ISE®) of the Year Southeast, 2007. She was also a finalist for the Information Security
Executive of the Year (ISE®) National, 2007. Kuhns holds her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the
University of Florida.
