Top Executives from across the Country to be Recognized for Their Leadership in Information Security

Nominees announced for Information Security Executive (ISE®) of the Year
North America Leadership Summit and Awards 2009

ATLANTA - October 5, 2009 - Nominees were announced today for the ISE® North America Awards 2009. The ISE® North America Awards 2009 recognize the information security executives and their teams who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy, and network security across the United States and Canada.

The finalists and winners will be revealed at a gala ceremony held on the evening of Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Washington DC. During the evening awards, all qualified nominees, finalists and winners are recognized and celebrated for their achievements and accomplishments.

The ISE® North America Awards are part of a special two day executive track program held in conjunction with CSI 2009. On Monday, October 26th, the executive program kicks off with keynote speaker, Chris Leach, Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Vice President of ACS and the 2008 Executive of the Year Award Winner in the Commercial Category. In addition to Chris, the day continues with business sessions focused on compelling content and discussions. On Tuesday, October 27th, the program offers more outstanding content, speakers, followed by the evening dinner and celebration of the nominees at the ISE® North America Awards.

The ISE® Executive of the Year Awards are presented to chief information security officers or equivalent who have made a positive impact in the industry through risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy, and information security.

The Information Security Project of the Year Award honors the team behind the project. This accolade is presented to a project team that has successfully completed an information security project in the past 12-18 months that greatly impacted an organization’s risk management or information security posture.
