ATLANTA - May 6, 2008 - Today the official Call for Nominations for the Information Security Executive (ISE®) of the Year West Awards and the launch of a new Information Security Project of the Year Award was announced.
The coveted ISE® West Award is presented to a chief security officer or executive in an equivalent position who has made a positive impact in the industry through risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy and information security. Eligible nominees are selected from the West region, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
Brand new in 2008, the Information Security Project of the Year Award highlights the team behind the work for a project completed in the past 12-18 months that has greatly impacted an organization's risk management or information security posture.
In addition to the awards, the ISE® West Nominees and Project Teams are invited to participate in the Leadership Summit. This extraordinary two-day program is comprised of cutting-edge forums, keynotes, panelists, and presentations in an environment that allows industry leaders to interact and network with their peers.
