Achievements by Information Security Executives and Project Teams to be Recognized
ATLANTA - February 11, 2008 - The official Call for Nominations for the Information Security Executive (ISE®) of the Year Mid-Atlantic Awards 2008 and the new Information Project Security Executive of the Year Award was announced today.
In its sixth year, the coveted ISE® Mid-Atlantic Award is presented to a chief security officer or executive in an equivalent position who has made a positive impact in the industry through risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy, and information security.
Brand new in 2008, the Information Security Project of the Year Award honors the team behind the project. This accolade is presented to a project team that has successfully completed an information security project in the past 12-18 months that greatly impacted an organization's risk management or information security posture.
Achievements will be highlighted in the government/academic and commercial categories. Eligible nominees are selected from the Mid-Atlantic region, including Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, DC.
The ISE® Mid-Atlantic Nominees and Project Teams are invited to participate in the Executive Forum comprised of cutting-edge forums, speakers, panelists and presentations in an environment that allows industry leaders to interact and network with their peers.
