Gary Warzala is the Chief Information Security Officer at Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH. He has been the CISO at top global brands spanning financial, insurance, and manufacturing verticals (i.e. PNC Bank, Visa Inc., Aon Corp., and GE Aviation). Warzala also served as a trusted CISO Advisor with the Verizon Research, Investigations, Solutions, Knowledge (RISK) Team supporting the Target Corporation breach response. He began his career at GE, where he held senior management positions in telecommunications, architecture, application development, and information security.

He is a Board member of the Economic Crime & Cybersecurity Institute (ECCI) of Utica College, a Security advisory board member for AXELOS Global Best Practice, Optiv, SDG, the Security Advisor Alliance, and the Big Data/Cyber Security Industry Advisory Council. He was the Cyber Workforce Development Chair for the Bay Area Council and participates in numerous speaking engagements annually, including RSA, Evanta CISO Executive Summit, FS-ISAC, and ISSA.

Warzala received his MBA from Xavier University and BS degree from Utica College of Syracuse University.
