Greg Thompson is vice president and Chief Information Security Officer responsible for the global Information Security Risk program at Manulife Financial. Greg is an executive with extensive industry experience in industries ranging from Telecommunications to the Financial Services Industry. Prior to rejoining Manulife in 2018, Greg worked for Scotiabank for 15 years where he most recently led the combined Operational & IT Risk Practices. He also spent eight years as the head of Cyber Security Operations in his role as VP and Deputy CISO at Scotiabank.

Greg is active in the global information security community through participation in several industry forums and through various volunteer activities. Highlights include:
