As Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and VP of Cyber Security, Risk and Compliance for Vistra Corp., Paul Reyes is accountable for security, protection and compliance of our company. He provides strategic leadership and management of cyber security, risk, and compliance for Vistra Corp. and subsidiaries. With a global support organization, Paul and his team build on the positive momentum of the past several years, focused on Value at Risk and aligning risk-based security with each part of the business. We enable broad coverage with fewest resources by leveraging new innovation and increased automation within a defense in depth strategy.

Paul originally joined the IT organization in 2009. With more than 30 years of professional experience in IT, prior to joining Vistra Corp., he has held comparable positions in infrastructure management and operations for the United States Air Force, Raytheon and Blockbuster.

In addition to his responsibilities at Vistra Corp., Paul received his BA, specializing in Information Systems Management, from Saint Leo University. He also has a CISSP and CISM certification in cyber security. Paul and his wife, Rose, live in the North Dallas area. They enjoy spending time with their two sons, daughter-in-law and grandson. He and his family participant with United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, American Cancer Society, Wounded Warrior Project, and American Red Cross.
