Jim Nelms is LabCorp’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He is a leading information security and risk management practitioner with broad experience in creating, transforming, and sustaining architectures for protecting organizations and their information assets. Jim is a tenured professional who has experience in the technical trenches, as well as in the boardroom, with a focus on international banking/finance and healthcare sectors.

Jim brings 32 years of Information Security knowledge and expertise to LabCorp, with prior positions as CISO of The World Bank and Mayo Clinic. His philosophy is summed up by the following quote: “21st- century Information Security is not what we prevent; it’s what we make possible.”
