Terrie has spent 23 years in information cyber security and IT audit related roles. She is currently a Security Operations leader working on special projects in threat and vulnerability management. She holds a B.S. in accounting and her CISSP, CRISC, ITIL, and CISM certifications. She is currently a member of ISACA and was a past president and vice president ISSA.

Terries’ experiences include risk management, cyber risk, incident management, disaster recovery, compliance, access management, IT auditing, vendor risk management, training and awareness, policy, customer responses to security, contract review and negotiations, security architecture, SDLC, and program/ project management. She has implemented SAP security for 9 years and has run compliance programs for PCI, ISO2700l, SOX, GLBA, FISMA/NIST, NYDFS, Financial Conduct Authority, ITAR, and HIPAA. Recent endeavors include creating her own comic book called Harry the Hacker which is illustrated by a professional artist and published globally in her company.

Over her career span, Terrie was nominated for Information Security Officer of the year and has been a presenter or panel member with IANS, ISSA, SandPiper, SAP America, AAMC, and other groups. Topics range from IT auditing, compliance, incident management, federation of networks, to staffing, managing through mergers, and other security topics. Her experiences included big 4 consulting; call centers, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, health care, banking and insurance.

Her personal hobbies and interests include her family, equestrian, boating, and hiking. She enjoys quality time spent with her daughter traveling and enjoying hiking with the dog.
