Stephen Ford is a global technology executive with more than 30 years of experience in the technology and healthcare industries.
Passionate about problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, working with people, and building relationships, Stephen is driven to help organizations meet their goals. As a natural connecter, he has a knack for putting people together with resources to solve problems.
Highly motivated and internally directed, Stephen is a goal-oriented person who looks to make a difference in everything he does. A change agent, he builds cultures of continuous improvement, from the micro of individual development through coaching to the macro of organizational development throughout his areas of responsibility. Most importantly, Stephen is known for the commitment to excellence and integrity that he seeks to instill in those he leads.
Presently, Stephen serves as Vice President, Global Cybersecurity at McKesson Corporation, a global leader in pharmaceutical and medical supplies distribution. In this role, he leads teams responsible for cybersecurity operations, offensive security, incident response, security engineering, architecture, and access management.
Active as a volunteer, Stephen serves as the chair for the national board of ASPIRE, McKesson’s African American/Black Employee Resource Group, providing professional development and growth opportunities for Black professionals, aiding in recruitment and retention of quality employees, and supporting diversity awareness activities.
Stephen holds a BS and MBA from Prairie View A&M University, and a Master of Liberal Arts from Harvard University. Stephen enjoys spending time with his wife Prinshell, their four adult children, and three grandchildren. He also enjoys playing golf, attending sporting events, and reading in his spare time.
