Noopur Davis is the Chief Product and Information Security officer for Comcast. Her responsibilities include information, infrastructure and product security. Noopur ensures best practices are built into all product development and operations activities to mitigate potential security risks. She partners with peers across the company to ensure alignment with overall company security and privacy strategy. Noopur oversees product security and privacy, identity and access management, governance, risk, and compliance, security intelligence and analytics, security engineering, security operations and incident response, vulnerability management, security architecture, and much more.
Noopur is a champion of women in technology – she is the executive sponsor of Comcast/NBCUniversal TechWomen, on the steering committee of Comcast Technology, Product, eXperience Diversity Council, and the executive sponsor of the Comcast Asian Pacific Americans Employee Resource Group.
Before joining Comcast, Noopur served as Vice President, Global Quality for Intel Security Group, where she was responsible for product security, product quality, enterprise agility, security content validation, and project management center of excellence, for Intel Security’s entire product line. Previously, Noopur served as a Principal of management consulting firm Davis Systems, working with clients such as Intuit, Adobe, Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft. She was a Senior Member of Technical Staff and Visiting Scientist at Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute – where she was a founding member and leader of the DHS Build Security In program. Prior to that, Noopur held various leadership and engineering positions in technical organizations.
Noopur holds a Master of Computer Science from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Auburn University. She is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).
