Chris L. Carter is an Cybersecurity AVP and a career coach. In his current role at Zurich, he advises the business on cybersecurity topics that directly impact cyber policies and claims. He currently oversees the coordination, development and execution of a variety of complex information security programs and initiatives. His experience also includes designing strategies, defining target operating models, implementing roadmaps, assessing and designing risk management processes and leading the execution of enterprise-wide rip and replace implementation programs.
His professional and philanthropic careers have afforded him the opportunity to meet various thought leaders in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. Carter is very passionate about developing and growing talent. He currently mentors and coaches professionals in the Cyber Security space across various verticals. Carter’s international experience includes working and living in EMEA, overseeing and visiting operations in Asia Pacific and Latin America. He currently holds bachelor’s degrees in Finance/Economics and a Master’s in Information Systems. Carter also a CISSP and holds 4 security certificates from ISACA. Additional certifications include certifications from ITIL and AWS. Carter also holds a certification in Cyber Security Policy from Harvard University.
