Dave Todd joined State Auto Insurance of Columbus, Ohio as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in July 2014. In this position, Dave works with a variety of associates including State Auto’s Business, Technical, Human Resource and Legal teams to develop, design and implement an even stronger Information Security Program across the organization, ensuring alignment with corporate strategic, compliance and operational objectives. Additionally, Dave leads business units and staff members in the development, implementation and maintenance of comprehensive business continuity and emergency management plans in order to ensure preparedness and resumption of critical business operations.

Dave is a graduate of Bob Jones University and earned an MBA from Marywood University. He is currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Information Security Management through SAN Technology Institute, the largest source for information security training in the world. Dave also has earned many professional designations throughout his career, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Holistic Information Security Practitioner (HISP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
