As the Chief Information Security Officer of GE Oil & Gas, Patrick Sullivan oversees the Information Security function. In his role, he leads a team of cyber security professionals and is responsible for the global delivery of IT Security services.  GE Oil & Gas is a world leader in advanced technologies and services with 37,000 employees in more than 100 countries supporting customers across the industry—from extraction to transportation to end use.

Patrick joined GE Oil & Gas from GE Power & Water’s Intellectual Property Protection Center of Excellence where he was an Information Management Security Leader.  In this role, Patrick led the Data Loss Prevention program for GE Oil & Gas, GE Power & Water, and Energy Management.  Prior to that, he was an IM Security Analyst for GE Capital.  At GE Capital, he led the Data Loss Prevention, Security Incident Response, Monthly Business Risk Scorecard, and Security Awareness programs. Patrick is also a graduate of GE Capital’s Information Technology Leadership Program.  He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Sacred Heart University.

Sullivan is a member and active speaker for the Houston Chapter of Infragard, ONG-ISAC, Texas CISO Council, Houston CISO Summit, ISE, and many industry conferences and executive forums. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Sacred Heart University.
