Mr. Stroud was previously the Information Security Officer for Nationstar Mortgage and First Federal of Michigan, and the Chief Security Architect for American Home Mortgage Services, Electronic Data Systems and GMAC. In these roles he established the Information Security function for each organization and was responsible for working with senior leadership to manage security risk, delivery security services and drive their roadmap for improvements and investments. He also served as a Senior Manager for Price Waterhouse and helped establish and deliver security services for their central region.

Over his last 27 years he has been responsible for driving innovation in the Information Security Industry by working with industry experts to form products and services related to Enterprise Governance Risk and Compliance, Security Event & Incident Management, Identity Access Governance Management, Digital Rights Management, Security Vulnerability & Compliance Management, and Vendor Security Risk Management. His latest accomplishments include helping many software companies successfully migrate their products into the cloud so they could be offered as security-as-a-service to meet regulated industries.

Mr. Stroud is responsible for the enterprise-wide information security policy, information security strategy, information security architecture, information security operations, and information security governance/risk management. He oversees and coordinates security initiatives working with executive, business and functional leaders and staff including human resources, audit & compliance, legal, physical security, systems operations and systems development.

He provides vision and leadership necessary to manage risk to the organization to ensure business alignment, effective governance, operational efficiency and performance monitoring and measurement. Stroud provides executive level decision support through both informal and formal means, including but not limited to executive level metrics, dashboards, risk analysis and mitigation, acceptance and reporting.

Mr. Stroud has provided guidance and direction on how Hunt can transform their IT processing environment to take advantage of using cloud and managed hosted IT services in a secure way with proper governance. This strategy has been put in place which is enabling Hunt to eliminating their dependency for an on-premise data center.
