Petko Stoyanov is the Global Chief Technology Officer for Forcepoint. Petko brings two decades of experience in Cyber Security, Anti-Tamper, Program Management and Go-To Market Strategy to the company.
Prior to joining Forcepoint, Petko served as McAfee’s Chief Technical Strategist for Public Sector and was responsible for leading the development and strategy for McAfee’s government technology roadmap, FedRAMP efforts, and enabling sales technical resources. At McAfee, Petko worked with government and commercial enterprise C-Level customers and served their Trusted Advisor and focused on architecture and risk-based outcomes by leveraging value and metrics-based methodologies.
Prior to McAfee, Petko held multiple quasi-government roles within the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense driving IT modernization and cyber security initiatives in securing customer data and improving their security posture. Petko comes to cybersecurity with a diverse technical capability and a unique background in unmanaged aircrafts, radar technology and systems development cyber resilience.
In addition to holding multiple certifications such as a CEH, CISSP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCFA and a PMP, Petko earned a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from George Mason University and a master’s in Engineering Management from the George Washington University.
