Kimberly A. Steele is the Associate Director for the National Technology Security Coalition (NTSC). In December 2015, Kimberly was appointed by NTSC President, Tino Mantella to assist him in starting up this new national trade association. Under the leadership of the Executive Director, Kimberly is responsible for enhancing the internal organization processes and infrastructure to provide a platform for chief information security officers and technology security stakeholders to advocate on policies impacting the industry.
Kimberly received her bachelor of arts with honors in political science from the University of Georgia in 2012. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she participated in the prestigious UGA’s Washington Semester program, where she worked in Rep. Sanford Bishop’s office.She also received her Master’s in Public Administration with a specialization in public policy from the University of Georgia in 2015. Kimberly was a chosen participant to attend the Seoul Metropolitan Government 17th Seoul case study program in South Korea while completing her graduate program. While in Seoul, Kimberly studied the innovative ways Seoul implements urban policy and economic development initiatives.
Kimberly recently became a member of the inaugural 2016 Georgia Tech Cybersecurity Leadership program, which is a senior executive program that addresses cybersecurity policies and risk as well evaluate and respond to cybersecurity threats.
