As Director of Information Security for enterprise financial close software leader BlackLine Systems, Max Solonski manages all information security programs for the company, including promoting information security awareness within the company, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of clients’ data, as well as BlackLine’s internal information resources, and also facilitating adherence to security best practices and regulatory requirements.

Prior to BlackLine, Max managed information security and regulatory compliance for toy industry giant Mattel and for the world’s largest retail property operator Westfield Group. At Mattel, Max was responsible for developing the company’s information security program, managing security operations and incident response teams, safeguarding intellectual property and personal information, and protecting the company’s websites and applications. At Westfield, serving as the company’s global security officer, Max managed information security efforts, infrastructure operations and disaster recovery programs.

Previously, Max held information security positions with entertainment industry giants Warner Bros. and The Walt Disney Company, where he focused on security architecture and application security.
