Mark is Executive Director, Business Information Risk Management & Security. In this role he is responsible for all aspects of business information risk management and cybersecurity within Merck’s business divisions (Research Labs, Manufacturing, Human Health, and Animal Health) and governance of the enterprise-wide information risk management function (including culture and awareness, risk management framework and assessment, policy governance, third party risk, and data governance). He is a member of the ITRMS Leadership Team.

Mark has worked exclusively in the Information Technology field for over 33 years. A senior executive in industries such as financial services, consulting and healthcare, with a diverse range of experiences including information risk, security and data governance efforts.

Mark has been a mentor to veterans trying to matriculate into the business world through the American Corporate Partners Veteran program. Mark joined Merck in 2016.

Mark is a graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Computer Science. He is married and has two children.
