Don is a service professional with over 25 years of experience in the Information Technology field. His specialties include strategic planning, enterprise application lifecycle and resource management.
Don’s experience includes management of software development for Abbot Laboratories, Glaxo Smith Klein, the Securities & Exchange Commission and the development of technologies for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Don is currently employed at Duke University Health System where he has spent the past 15 years of his career.
During his time with Duke, Don has managed Duke public and Internal application offering and is currently the Senior Product Manager for the Health System. His team is responsible for 30,000 users and over 60,000 IT and clinical devices across three major hospitals and more than 185 sites in North Carolina.
Don is a current board member for The Duke Health Demand Review, Project Review, Architectural Review boards. Through his various role, he works extensively to streamline the Duke service catalogue and enhance the Duke Health customer experience through strategic planning, technology and automation.
Originally from the north east, Don relocated to North Carolina in 1999 where he currently resides with his wife Kim and their 3 dogs. He is an avid hiker, technology enthusiast and graphic artist.
