Mr. Nehlebaeff has been the Corporate Information Security Manager of Harley Davidson Financial Services Inc (HDFSI) and has served as the CISO for Eaglemark Savings Bank (a subsidiary of HDFSI) since September 2002. Prior to HDFSI Mr. Nehlebaeff was the Information Security Manager at WebLink Wireless from March 2001. Prior to WebLink Wireless, he served in the U.S. Navy for twenty four years and retired as an Information Technology Technician Chief Petty Officer. During the last 11 years of his U S Naval tour, he served as an Information Systems Security Manager, a Command Security Manager, Course Curriculum Model Manager (Information Systems Administration course) and an Instructor (for the Information Systems Administration course). Mr. Nehlebaeff has over 30 years of experience in various security disciplines and has spent the last 18 years in the information security arena.
Mr. Nehlebaeff primary responsibilities include creating the HDFSI Information Security strategy, developing all corporate security policies and procedures, providing advice and oversight on all IT projects, managing various IT controls as set forth in regulatory requirements (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley, GLBA, FFIEC), developing an information security awareness training program, conducting vendor due diligence reviews and managing the business continuity efforts for the company.
Mr. Nehlebaeff attended Excelsior College of NY (formerly known as NY Regents) where he studied Applied Technologies and graduated Magna Cum Laude from DeVry University with a BS in Technical Management and received his Master’s Business Administration (MBA) (InfoSec Concentration) from Keller Graduate School of Management. Mr. Nehlebaeff has also received certification as an Information Systems Security Manager (U.S. Navy 1990 & 2001), Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP (2001)) Mr. Nehlebaeff is actively involved within the cyber-security community and is the Former President of the North Texas Chapter of Infragard, the former Chair of the AFSA ID Theft and Fraud Committee, a member of the North Texas Electronic Crimes Task Forces, and ISSA.
