Nick is an information security professional with fifteen years’ experience in Information Technology and Security. Currently Nick is the Vice President of Cyber Intelligence Operations at Equifax where he is responsible for development of security strategy; network security; Threat & Vulnerability Management; security incident response planning, awareness and execution; data loss prevention; and governance of security technologies, and standards. Nick is a patent owner of a process utilized to protect information and has developed and managed a Global Incident Response framework, process and team, featured in CEB Information Risk Leadership Counsel’s “Developing a Systematic Incident Response Program, The CISO’s Guide”. Nick has also led a partnership with the Department of Homeland Security as the first public sector Critical Infrastructure Key Resource (CIKR) and is an active member of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC).
Prior to Equifax, Nick served as the Director of the Global Security Operations at Internet Security Systems (now IBM Managed Security Services) where he was responsible for delivery of ISS’s managed security services and global security operations center. He was responsible for the integration of new technologies and platforms into the MSS environment and the leader for the Operations Center’s Computer Emergency Response Team. Nick is CISSP certified, holds a Bachelor of Education in from The University of Toledo, and is currently pursuing an MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
