Dr. Evette Maynard-Noel is Associate Chief Information Officer at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in Washington, D.C., supporting CISA’s mission in leading the National effort to understand and manage cyber and physical risk to our critical infrastructure. Prior to her current role, Dr. E. (as she is known across the agency) was the Deputy Chief information Security Officer/Chief of Risk Measurement and Governance, responsible for enterprise security governance, risk, compliance and oversight of information and systems. She has over 25 years of practitioner and leadership experience in the planning, development, delivery, and monitoring of solutions that address the needs of stakeholders in support of their missions.
Dr. E. earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University, she holds the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and is a charter member of the Northern Virginia chapter of ISC2.
