Evette Maynard-Noel is currently the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer & Deputy Associate Chief Information Officer for Information/Cyber Security, for the National Protection and Programs Directorate of the US Department of Homeland Security, where she is responsible for integrating information security governance, risk, and compliance into mission operations to improve operational decision making and resilience. She leads an organization of 50+ federal and contract employees responsible for enterprise oversight of information security, to support the Directorate’s mission to strengthen the security and resiliency of the nation’s critical infrastructure against physical and cyber risk.

The future Dr. Maynard-Noel is a Ph.D. Candidate in the College of Engineering and Computing at Nova Southeastern University. She has over 25 years of experience in various aspects of Information Technology and Security, holds CISSP and CISM certification, and is a recognized government and industry security professional.
