Casey Marquette is currently Business Unit Information Security Officer for Omnicare, as well as Senior Director of Security Operations for Fortune 7 CVS Health. Marquette’s passion is leadership with 10+ years leading and developing future leaders of Fortune 50 organizations. He values leadership, positive energy, accountability, connecting people, and learning.
At Omnicare, Marquette is responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets are protected. In his role at CVS Health Marquette provides security services consisting of security architecture, engineering, and operations. These services include: endpoint, network and perimeter, log management, security operations, forensics, electronic discovery, threat intelligence, incident response, and red team.
During Marquette’s tenure at CVS Health he has built out a 24x7x365 world class security operations center of excellence, implemented a service owner model across all security services at CVS Health, and successfully integrated Omnicare and CVS Health. Prior to joining CVS Health, Marquette worked for Fortune 39 Johnson & Johnson (J&J) leading a global team responsible for protecting assets for 260 operating companies in 60 countries. Marquette joined Johnson & Johnson from Fortune 41 Medco where he had experience assessing and mitigating risk. Prior to his work in the private sector, Casey worked in law enforcement as a police lieutenant in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Marquette graduated from Norwich University with a Master of Science in Information Assurance and attended the FBI CISO Academy in Quantico, VA. In addition, he holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certifications. He serves on the Health and Human Services (HHS) Cyber Security Working Group, is the FBI Healthcare Sector Co-Chief for Greater Cincinnati, and is a member of the Montreat College Cyber Security Advisory Council.
Marquette enjoys giving back to the community. He led efforts to raise over $110,000 for Hurricane Sandy victims, Wounded Warrior Project, and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia by recruiting 100+ volunteers to donate their time for various athletic events. He was recognized by New Jersey Governor Christie for his efforts.
Casey and his wife live in Cincinnati, Ohio. They enjoy exercising and boating in their free time.
