Mike Lyman graduated from West Point in 1987. He served as a Lieutenant in the Army and saw combat in Operation Desert Storm. After the war he came to Huntsville and worked at AEgis Research developing software and creating their early IT infrastructure. In 1997 he was recruited to Microsoft where he spent the next six years chasing hackers on their incident response team to include major events like the Melissa virus, Code Red/Nimda and SQL Slammer. In 2003 he returned to Huntsville to work for SAIC where he works helping customers adopt secure development standards and write more secure applications. He has been a CISSP since 2002 and CSSLP since 2008.
