Dr. Limnell holds a Doctor of Military Sciences from the National Defense University, Finland; a Master of Social Science, University of Helsinki; and an Officer´s degree from the Military Academy at the National Defense University. He currently serves as Dir. of Cyber Security for Stonesoft. He previously led global and public safety and defense solutions for Accenture and director of administration and development at Evli-Bank.  He spent 10 years as an active officer in the Finnish Defense Forces and worked in the Department of Strategic and Defense Studies at the National Defense University. He is regularly published and quoted in articles concerning security politics and international relations. His latest book was published last year, entitled The World and Finland after 9/11.
