Nate King is a cyber security professional and hands-on leader of technical information security teams.  He is currently an Information Security Manager at Fannie Mae.  Areas of responsibility have included application/software security, application ethical hacking, threat and vulnerability management, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, enterprise certification, and PCI compliance.  He has also been involved in security architecture reviews, ISO 27002 security reviews, security metrics, BSIMM, developer outreach on security, and information security policy and standards.  He has over 17 years of information security and networking experience.

Prior to joining Fannie Mae in 2004, Mr. King was a Managing Consultant with INS / Predictive Systems / Global Integrity. He was also a Sr. Consultant with the information security consulting practice of Ernst & Young, and has previous work experience in the Federal Government, military, and education industries.

Mr. King holds both graduate and undergraduate degrees from Brigham Young University, and has CISSP, CISM, and CRISC certifications.
