David Hetzler is responsible for The Home Depot’s security posture and technical capabilities as it relates to Identity & Access Management. David is responsible for enabling, enforcing and empowering secure access to information across 500,000 workers as well as over 80 million online customers.
Prior to joining The Home Depot, David was the Global Access Managing Director for Infrastructure Services at AIG. He was responsible for creating an enterprise Identity and Access Management operations and automation function – implementing controls, reducing risks, improving service and driving efficiency. Before his career at AIG, David spent 12-years at Bank of America where he held various roles of increasing responsibility to include his last role as SVP - Global Wholesale Banking Technology & Operations. David has also previously worked at Nortel Networks and Sikorsky Aircraft.
David holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from University of Bridgeport.
