Suzanne Hall is Vice President, Information Technology for the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross, founded by Clara Barton in 1881 and headquartered in Washington, DC, is the premier organization for disaster relief and a major U.S. provider of blood products to the healthcare industry. Suzanne is responsible for the technology strategy and delivery for the Multi-Channel Commerce and Security unit, focusing on traditional and emerging channels to increase revenue and reach for Fundraising, Health and Safety Programs, Marketing and Communications.    Suzanne joined the Red Cross in late 2008 as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and continues to lead the enterprise security strategy and direction.  Suzanne is a transformative leader experienced as aligning complex organizations and resources to meet strategic goals.  She is an industry recognized expert in technology management who enables business through technology solutions, risk management, and compliance programs. Suzanne brings a wealth of information technology management experience to the organization, including expertise in new technologies such as social media, web based services and e-commerce.

Prior to the Red Cross, Suzanne was CIO for Lerner Enterprises and the Washington Nationals Baseball Club. In this role Suzanne led the efforts to build the most technologically advanced Ball Park in the major league.  Before baseball, Suzanne was Director, IT Operations and Security at AARP, responsible for the technology functions for over 50 locations across the US. 

Suzanne holds a BS degree in Business Management and Accounting from The American University in Washington, DC.  She also is a Certified Public Accountant, and Certified Information Systems Auditor.
