Leon Florentin serves as Director of Infrastructure and Data Security at Watsco, inc., a Fortune 500 company. With over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity and infrastructure leadership roles. Leon is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Watsco’s information security program.

Prior to joining Watsco, Leon was the IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security Manager at Del Monte Fresh Produce where he led their enterprise cybersecurity program. Leon is known for his strategic approach to cybersecurity and ability to communicate cyber risks and solutions to executive leadership and the Board of Directors. He has extensive expertise in security strategy, governance, technology solutions, and staff development.

At Watsco, Leon has focused on modernizing cyber defenses through Zero Trust architecture, cloud security, automation, and AI-driven technologies as well as building a “Culture of Security” thru awareness training across the enterprise.
