Brian Dye is Senior Vice President of Information Security, with responsibility for product management, engineering, support, and operations for Gateway Security, Data Center Security and Compliance, Data Loss Prevention, Trust Services, Internet of Things, and Managed Security Services / Information Security Service solutions.

Brian has been with Symantec for 10 years, leading teams and building products to solve a wide array of IT problems. Most recently he led the Information Intelligence group, which included product management, engineering, support, and operations for Enterprise Vault, Enterprise Vault.cloud, Clearwell, and the Information Fabric initiative. In prior roles, he has led the product management teams for Symantec's backup and archiving, enterprise infrastructure security, compliance, and high availability products. Brian joined the company in the alliances team where he managed the corporate relationship with PeopleSoft, Siebel, and SAP.

Prior to joining Symantec, Brian worked in various engineering, program management, and business development roles at Procter and Gamble, E Ink, and Xerox PARC. Brian holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from MIT, and an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business.
