Daniel Dubowski is the Vice President and CISO of Equifax’s USIS and GCS business units which make up more than half of the company’s annual revenue. He came to Equifax as a “post-breacher” given his extensive expertise in breach containment, remediation, and organizational transformation and helped build Equifax’s industry-leading information security program. On the heels of the security transformation, he partnered with IT to transform and migrate nearly 1000 applications into public cloud environments while moving more than 35,000 customers.
Prior to Equifax, Daniel led the global technical security program for InterContinental Hotels Group which spanned more than 100 countries, nearly 6000 hotels, and employed over 350,000 colleagues. His responsibilities included securing global employees, offices, and datacenters as well as developing security products and services for the franchise estate.
Daniel holds an MBA from the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology as well as two bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. His studies focused on cryptography and data encryption. In recent years, his scholastic focus has turned to postquantum encryption algorithms and leveraging Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence within security programs.
