Dennis Dickstein is Chief Operating Officer of UBS Americas Legal, leading the area's strategic planning, risk, financial and business management functions. From January 2007 to August 2016, he was Chief Privacy and Information Security Officer for UBS Wealth Management Americas, leading information security, data protection and identity theft protection programs. In prior years, Mr. Dickstein held leadership positions in business and risk management at UBS and other financial services firms.
Mr. Dickstein is co-author of the book "No Excuses: A Business Process Approach to Managing Operational Risk", published January 2009 by John Wiley & Sons. He has spoken at conferences on the topics of privacy, information security, identity theft, operational risk, and aligning risk management to business objectives.
Mr. Dickstein is Treasurer and on the Board of Directors of Care for the Homeless, a non-profit organization that delivers healthcare, human services and shelter to homeless individuals and families throughout New York City. Mr. Dickstein holds a Master's degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science degree from MIT.
