Everette has been working in information technology and security since 1993, where he was an NCO and ASO in the United States Navy. He led engineering, maintenance, and operations for data systems and C4ISR. After military service, he spent many years after that heading consulting engagements before advancing into leadership roles, including manager, director, executive and CISO roles across multiple verticals and consulting organizations.

Everette is currently a Field CISO and Principal Client Advisor for NCC Group. I advise clients to both effectively secure and mitigate risk for their environments.

Everette is adept at developing and identifying business aligned security strategies, strategies, as well as the ability to delve deep into the make-up of network and systems security to quickly identify risk, provide gap analysis, clearly plan integrated strategies, source technologies and services, and deliver strong and integrated security systems.

Everette holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2 and is a member the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the Military Cyber Professionals Association (MCPA), the FAIR Institute, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), the American Anthropological Association (AAA), the American Management Association (AMA), and the American Legion. Everette is pursuing degrees in cyber anthropology.
