Michael Deal is the Director of Cyber Defense Engineering and Vulnerability Management at Cox Communications. His teams are responsible for vulnerability management, security metrics and cyber visibility toolsets – including log collection, network visibility, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM).

Prior to joining Cox Communications, Michael began his career at Ernst & Young where he assisted companies with SOX, built Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards compliance programs, and improved Information Security programs.
