Drake Cody has 20 years of experience in Information Technology, Information Security and Risk Management domains. Drake is the Executive Director of Data Protection at Target Corp. where he is responsible for providing oversight and strategy to ensure the effective protection of guest data and minimizing data loss through effective resource, process and technical leadership.

Prior to joining Target Corporation, Drake held several core security leadership roles at CNA Financial and Allstate Insurance leading teams in maturing their Information Security capabilities in the areas of Access Control Management, Information Security Operations & Engineering, Computer Investigations, eDiscovery, Threat & Vulnerability Management and Information Risk Management.

Drake holds several key certifications including ISACA’s Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designations. He is active in national and local Information Security chapters such as ISSA, and ISACA. He is a graduate of Columbia College, MO. with a BA in Management Information Systems (MIS).
