Todd is a Business Information Security Office (BISO) at McKesson Corporation based in Los Colinas, Texas; where he oversees Information Security and Risk Management Operations in McKesson’s Medical-Surgery business unit covering medical supplies, healthcare solutions and distribution services. McKesson is a Fortune 10 global company which distributes pharmaceuticals and provides health information technology, medical supplies, and care management tools worldwide. McKesson delivers over a third of all pharmaceuticals used in North America and has delivered over 785 million doses of the COVID vaccine for the US Federal Government.
Prior to McKesson, he had a storied 20-year career at Mayo Clinic, a nonprofit academic medical center focused on integrated health care, education, and research. Todd began his Cybersecurity career as an Exchange Server administrator in May 2000 with the launch of the “ILOVEYOU” Melissa Macro virus – and information security has been a passion ever since.
Todd is passionate about Healthcare Cybersecurity – and the criticality of preserving the confidentiality and integrity of the patient experience and stability of the Healthcare industry to deliver excellent patient care.
Todd holds an Associate Degree in Architectural Design, a Mini-Master of IT in Software Engineering, a Certificate of Technology Management, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is a HIMSS and DFW Chapter Member and this year will celebrate 30 years of marriage to his supportive and brilliant wife. Together they have three children, are proud grandparents to three grandchildren, and enjoy family time, as well as constant projects around their family Texas ranch. Todd also enjoys graphic art, sticker collecting, his dogs, volunteer work with youth, college students, aspiring cybersecurity technologists, and leaders he regularly mentors.
