Leigh is a highly accomplished professional currently serving as the Vice President of Maritime Cyber Safety at Carnival Corporation. With over 25 years of experience spanning diverse industries, Leigh is a dynamic and results-oriented security technology leader. She has successfully managed large-scale OT/IT projects, consistently delivering exceptional outcomes by overcoming challenges and focusing on customer and business needs.
Throughout her career, Leigh has demonstrated her expertise in driving success across startups, midsize businesses, and global corporations. She possesses a strategic and tactical mindset, which she applies to various business environments, including healthcare, computer hardware and software, security, education, retail/service, and travel, specifically focusing on the cruise industry. Leigh's technical vision enables her to assemble high-performing teams while fostering a culture of diversity, creativity, and empowerment.
Before assuming her current role at Carnival Corporation in 2014, Leigh held the positions of Global Director, Security Portfolio, and Manager of the Global Infrastructure Project Portfolio within the company. Prior to joining Carnival, Leigh served as a Product Technologist Consultant/Systems Engineer at DELL Technologies. From 2009 to 2014, she played key leadership roles as the Director of IT Infrastructure & Security and Director of Technical Services at The School District of Palm Beach County, one of the largest school districts in the United States.
Leigh's career journey also includes serving as the CIO and Vice President of Software Development & Services at SenTech Systems, a post-9/11 security firm specializing in B2B eCommerce solutions for the Security and Safety industry. During her tenure, she led the development of software solutions, customer support, system design, and consulting services, which significantly contributed to the company's sales revenues.
Furthermore, Leigh's extensive experience includes working as the Director of IT Services at Citrix Systems during its early stages of explosive growth. She directed global support and IT teams involved in the development of technical support, server operations, network services, security, and system monitoring across North America, EMEA, and Asia.
Leigh graduated from Carlow University, earning a BS in Business Management with a Minor in Finance. She furthered her education at Nova Southeastern University, obtaining an MBA with a concentration in Computer Science. Leigh holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification and a Master Certificate in Enterprise Cybersecurity from the Professional Development Academy.
