Geoffrey Aranoff joined Broadcom in 1999 and is currently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Broadcom Corporation, making him responsible for "securely" enabling Broadcom engineers. Geoff’s organization develops enterprise security strategies that provide the necessary monitoring and controls for Broadcom’s intellectual property (IP). This organization also facilitates electronic discovery for litigations and electronic forensics for internal and external inquiries and investigations. In the role of CISO Geoff is also responsible for evaluating the enterprise risks in relation to IP and liability in regards to private data. With 13 years of experience in managing information technology and security Geoff has a reputation for convening highly effective supporting teams, including the world class eDiscovery and investigative teams for Broadcom. Geoff also served 6 years in the United State Marine Corp Reserves and was activated for Desert Shield in 1990.
