Andrea is the head of Information Security and Risk (CISO) for NBCUniversal Media, LLC (NBCU), an American owned multi-national media conglomerate, owned by Comcast and headquartered at Rockefeller Plaza’s Comcast building in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, NY. NBCUniversal is primarily involved in the media and entertainment industry; amongst its most significant divisions are National Broadcasting Company (NBC), one of the United States “Big 3” television networks, and the film studio Universal Pictures. It also has a significant presence in broadcasting through a portfolio of domestic and international properties, including terrestrial and pay television outlets. Via its Universal Parks & Resorts division, NBCUniversal is also the third largest operator of amusement parks in the world. 2018 annual revenues will exceed $38 billion USD. In her role as CISO Andrea is responsible for security, risk and compliance. She was brought in by former Lockheed Martin IT leadership and current NBUC IT leader Liz Michaud to buildout world class security demonstrating the value of security to the enterprise and setting the standard in Media.

Prior to NBCU, Andrea served 17 years in various and progress positions in project management, IT audit, program management, security engineering and eventually in a security engineering leadership capacity in the corporate information security function. She was selected to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from Lockheed Martin, known for best-in-class cyber security for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Communities, to media at NBCU.

Andrea graduated from the University of Notre Dame and spends her time in Indiana, New York City, NY and various NBCU locations globally.
